I was tempted to watch ‘Heroes’ because so many people were so excited about this series : friends, DVD storekeeper, and it’s hugely advertised at Star World.

So.. very tiring days to watch this series last week, just finishing the last episode an hour ago.
Well, it is a very good movie indeed.
1. The story is really good (sci-fi with a little thriller).
2. Interwoven plots with a lot of surprises and twists.
3. The characters are also great (especially Hiro and his ‘unspecial’ friend Ando.. yata!!). All have their own conflicts and nothing is black or white.
4. It is riveting.
The interesting thing is I feel that the series does not have something really unique. An identity.
Maybe it is a little bit too careful to choose its specialty.
It avoids to be like X-Men with a lot of showdown (though I expect more showdown between people with special power, especially Peter vs Sylar).
It avoids to be too sci-fi (time travel and complicated theory).
I don’t see it as a flaw, in fact, it is a good space to expand (for the next seasons).
So.. I will definitely watch the next season, and hoping they can keep the series moving, exploiting more on the characters and their ability, and the hidden secrets.
